[ Built for manufacturers running many sites ]

Every system has moved forward except the one your people work from.

You've invested millions in PLM, MES, and the digital thread, and your process data is in good shape. The way knowledge reaches the people on the floor, and the way their know-how gets back into your engineering systems, still runs on a patchwork of documents, slides, and screenshots. With hundreds of products, thousands of people, and constant change, it has become the bottleneck.

The knowledge gap.

Your most experienced people are retiring, and what they know was never captured. New hires used to learn by shadowing a veteran for months. The veterans are leaving, and that way of passing knowledge on no longer works.

A patchwork handoff.

Engineering knowledge reaches the floor as exported documents, rebuilt by hand at each plant. Every site ends up running its own version.

Teams that can't keep up.

Hundreds of products, thousands of variants, and constant engineering changes. Each one takes dozens or hundreds of hours to document, and the backlog grows faster than anyone can write.

Escapes that come back.

Defects trace back to steps that were out of date or misread. They get logged as operator error, so the cause never gets fixed and the defect returns.

Your people are your biggest asset. It's time the digital thread reached them.

Envision Builder captures what your experts know, delivers it to every station, and feeds what the floor learns into the next release.

[ The difference ]

The same release, two ways.

Challengers in your market aren't carrying decades of process and thousands of people doing it the old way. They move faster, and they're coming for your margins.

Without Envision Builder

With Envision Builder

Working out the build order

Engineers at each plant work it out again from the CAD designs, their own way.

With Envision Builder

Envision Builder proposes one sequence from your CAD designs and your know-how. Engineering reviews it once and every site shares it.

From engineering to the plant

Engineering releases a document and each plant rebuilds it in its own format.

With Envision Builder

One governed instruction, released once and opened in the browser at every site.

Design changes

An engineering change lands and every plant hunts through its own copies.

With Envision Builder

Import the changed CAD design and your instructions update in authoring. Resequence, review, and publish to every site under your control.

Your corporate template

Enforced by reviewers catching what authors got wrong.

With Envision Builder

Every page laid out to your template in one click, by every author at every site.

Languages

Each release goes out for translation and the plants wait weeks.

With Envision Builder

Evie translates as part of authoring, so each site gets the release in its own language.

What your experts know

Lives in the heads of people about to retire and in printouts taped to benches.

With Envision Builder

Experts comment on the instruction itself, and what they know flows into the next release through a built-in approval process.

New people on the line

Months shadowing a veteran who's pulled off production to train them.

With Envision Builder

Step-by-step visual instructions at every station, built from what your experts know.

What the worker sees

A static document delivered through your systems, the same for a first-week hire and a twenty-year veteran.

With Envision Builder

An interactive 3D instruction, step by step at every station, delivered inside the systems your people already use.

PLM and MES

Your systems carry the process data, and the instruction they hand the worker is still built by hand.

With Envision Builder

Instructions built from your engineering data and connected to your PLM and MES with the included SDKs, plus out-of-the-box Envision Connectors for Aras, Infor, 42Q, Rockwell Plex, and more.

Who can author

A few experts at headquarters who know the tool.

With Envision Builder

Unlimited authors across engineering and every plant, working in a PPT-like editor.

What is Envision Builder?

Envision Builder is assembly sequence planning software from Canvas Envision. It proposes the build sequence for a product from your CAD designs and the know-how you give it, lets your team reorder the steps, and generates connected work instructions from the finished sequence. It also turns video and existing documents into work instructions. General availability is planned for February. Founders get working access now.

How does Envision Builder plan an assembly sequence?

Envision Builder reads the assembly structure in your CAD designs and proposes a build order. Add context such as a similar product, a video of the job, a process plan, or the rules you follow. Reorder steps and add the ones that aren't in the geometry, like setup, safety, and inspection, then generate the work instructions.

Can we start at one plant?

Yes, and we recommend it. Start with one product at one site, prove it, then take the same instructions to up to 3 sites during the Builder Foundation term.

What happens when the design changes?

Import the changed CAD design and your instructions update. Envision Builder shows what's different and flags new parts that need a place in the sequence and removed parts that need to come out. Resequence and revise in minutes, then release the new version to every site through your approval process.

Does Envision Builder work with my PLM and MES?

Yes. Envision Builder sits on top of your PLM and MES and doesn't replace them. Enterprise Edition includes the evConnect, evBuilder, and evOperator SDKs for connecting the systems you run. Out-of-the-box Envision Connectors for Aras, Autodesk Vault, Infor, SSI Shipbuilding, 42Q, and Rockwell Plex are an add-on.

Does AI decide the assembly sequence?

Envision Builder proposes a sequence from your CAD designs plus any context you give it, from a similar product to a video to the rules you follow. Your engineers can change any step, build the sequence by hand, or import it from a CSV or process plan.

What is the Builder Foundation?

The Builder Foundation is the founding customer program for Envision Builder. Enterprise Edition is $45,000 for companies over $500 million in revenue, against a list price of $150,000 a year. It covers up to 3 sites, unlimited authors, unlimited Envision Operator users, the evConnect, evBuilder, and evOperator SDKs, and access to our CEO and product team. Access runs from today through launch in February, plus a full year after, with founder pricing in year two. When you apply, you choose to book a call with our leadership team or join the live Builder Foundation preview on Thursday, November 12 at 1:00 PM ET. Enrollment closes November 25.
