Boston, MA. March 4, 2024. Canvas Envision has introduced the Envision SDK, which lets manufacturers embed Envision's interactive, model-based work instructions inside other enterprise applications, including the Aras Innovator PLM platform and the SAIC ReadyOne digital engineering platform.
The SDK extends Envision beyond standalone authoring, so instructional content can be created, managed, and consumed directly within the systems manufacturers already use.
The release also added document management and version control improvements, updated markup and review tools for remote collaboration, and permanent link sharing for instructions assigned to a URL or QR code.
