Boston, MA. January 15, 2025. Canvas Envision has announced an integration between the Canvas Envision visual execution platform and the Autodesk Vault product data management (PDM) platform.
CAD models stored in Vault can be inserted into Envision documents directly from the Envision Creator authoring application, and Envision documents can be saved to and managed in Vault.
Model-based content within Envision instructions, including visualizations, interactive embedded models, and animations, can be linked to source CAD data in Vault, so instructional documentation updates quickly when engineering changes occur.
The Vault integration joins existing integrations including the Aras Innovator PLM platform and the Plex MES from Rockwell Automation.
